Volunteer with our Bethlehem Experience!
We need your help to bring Bethlehem to life! Areas to volunteer include set building, costume creation, acting in the live experience, and helping us facilitate the event on the day of (tickets, hosting, backstage crew, etc.).
This year's Live Nativity at Crossroads will be extended to two weeks in December. The dates are December 6, 7, 8 and December 13, 14, 15. Our "Bethlehem" will be built to allow more people to attend. Which means we'll need more help from our Crossroads community! This will be a months-long project with varying levels of commitment and time. Volunteers can give a few hours as their schedule allows over the next few months in preparation for the Christmas Season.

Bethlehem Experience Actor Call
ACT: REGISTER NOW TO PARTICIPATE AS AN ACTOR. Some roles have already been cast, as volunteers are already signed up. Please act swiftly to secure your spot!
ACTORS NEEDED: Actors needed for outdoor Live Nativity performance at Crossroads Christian Church. Adults of all ages, Children/Teens ages 10+
PERFORMANCE DATES: December 6, 7, 8 and 13, 14, 15. (Actors will be scheduled for a minimum of three performance dates, all roles will be “double cast” each performance night. Detailed schedule provided after casting.)
DRESS REHEARSAL DATES: Monday and Tuesday November 27th & 28th in the evening. (Detailed schedule provided after casting.)
ROLES/CHARACTERS: See full character descriptions below. All roles will be double cast each night, meaning each role could be cast by four actors to accommodate event schedule. The experience is a live, on-going performance that attendees will walk-through, similar to a theme park attraction. Scenes are performed back-to-back; actors will be given breaks throughout the night.
*This is a volunteer opportunity. Actors will be required to memorize lines before Dress Rehearsals and attend any necessary costume fittings. Major scheduling conflicts need notice at time of audition. Costumes will be provided, except for shoes and warm-weather gear.
